Asus EN7600GT Graphics Card Reviewed

asus7600gt picReg Hardware has a review of the Asus EN7600GT (£140), a PCI Express graphics card that features the nVidia 7600 GT GPU (90nm manufacturing process), dual DVI ports, TV out, and SLI-ready.

Nvidia's new GeForce 7600 GT is an incredibly impressive mid-range graphics chip. Asus hasn't done much with its version, the EN7600GT, apart from re-badging a reference card and bundling a copy of King Kong but heck, what else do you want? [Reg Hardware]

As the article suggested, if you currently use a 6600GT-based card, the 7600GT is a worthwhile upgrade. The X1800 GTO is the estimated ATI equivalent of the nVidia 7600GT, so the 7600GT is and should be better than the current Radeon X1600 based cards. Also, a pair of 7600GTs in SLI mode will perform better than a 7900GT, and will be close to a 256MB 7900GTX.
