AnandTech compares 10 power supply units in the 730W to 900W class. The reviewed PSUs were from Hiper, Amacrox, OCZ, Antec, Coolermaster, Silverstone, and Seasonic. The price range is US$115 to US$230.

Given the price range of the 10 PSUs ($115 - $230), the Antec Truepower ($170) was actually priced somewhere in the middle price point. With similar performance ratings, I guess that's where it usually boils down - price.
