Office Ergonomics

Website Office Ergonomics Training (office-ergo.com) collects information and publishes some "handouts" that have been used widely in training courses for office workers and ergonomists and health care professionals who work with office workers.

Its article "Conventional Wisdom" vs. Current Ergonomics summarizes some of the new research information on office ergonomics. Other useful information available are:

  • Low back pain ergonomics
  • Eyestrain basics
  • Hand and arm basics
  • Ergonomic products: Pros/Cons
  • Being Effective
  • Ergonomic chairs
  • Alternative keyboards
Computing is not exactly a "natural" activity for us humans. But we could still improve our work environment, making the use of technology less damaging to our physical well-being.
