AMD 2006 & 2007 Processor Roadmap Revealed

HKEPC Hardware has an AMD desktop processor 2006/2007 roadmap for the Socket AM2.

It is expected that in the first half of 2006, these Socket AM2 processors will be released:

• Athlon 64 FX-62 (2.8 GHz, Dual Core, 2-Ch DDR2, "Windsor")
• Athlon 64 X2 3800+ to 5200+ (2.0GHz to 2.6 GHz, Dual Core, 2-Ch DDR2, "Windsor")
• Athlon 64 (2-Ch DDR2, "Orleans")
• Sempron (2-Ch DDR2, "Manila")

In the first half of 2007, 65nm "Brisbane" Athlon 64 X2 processors will be released, while 65nm "Sparta" Sempron processors will be released no earlier than the 2nd half of 2007.
